The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer to join our clients Top Tier Financial Services team located in Sydney on a full time basis.
Working closely with a top rated Partner and Special Counsel this is a fantastic opportunity for a 2 - 5 year Lawyer who is keen to undertake both advisory and some large projects work.
This top tier team is experienced, relaxed and collegiate. You will advise on complex regulatory issues affecting leading financial industry participants, across the banking and insurance sectors. This is a complex and diverse practice, where you will be involved in the development of innovative client solutions and major transactions.
Key responsibilities
The role will see you working with a variety of financial institutions and leading organisations, including domestic and foreign participants, on a broad range of matters in both a regulatory and transactional context.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
At least 2 years' post qualification experience with a background in financial services law
A proactive approach to your work with a strong client service focus
Strong client management and negotiations skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate with impact to both internal and external clients and staff
A diligent team player with high attention to detail
In addition to this, we're looking for a positive, self-starter. Someone who is able to work autonomously and is focused on attention to detail and providing an outstanding service to their clients.
