GRC Business Analyst - Business Continuity

Our client is a multi billion dollar business in the Infrastructure space undergoing a significant period of technology led transformation.
They are looking for a smart and capable GRC Business Analyst - Business Continuity Specialist to work on Projects including;
GRC Platform usage, GRC Policy Administration, Records Management, Business Continuity, SAP Delegations & Improving GRC Communication across the company.
You will work under Senior Risk and Compliance Managers to implement their strategies and to bring improvement to GRC systems and processes enterprise wide
The Role
This role is responsible for providing a broad range of expert business analysis, reporting and advice, for the purpose of taking business
requirements and translating them into improved system and process solutions.
Typical work includes
• Develop and embed sound processes, systems, and practices supporting policy and procedures aimed at improving internal controls regarding risk, compliance, and business continuity.
• Undertake analysis of financial and non‐financial metrics and the use of appropriate analytical techniques to analyse the risk and compliance performance of business activities.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of risk and compliance work function and recommend changes to policies and procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other colleagues across the organisation to continuously improve the function.
• Provide comprehensive information on current operation performance and business process including identifying issues, inefficiencies, trends, patterns, and bottlenecks, and recommending solutions
• Manage projects to implementation and roll out ensuring smooth handover to the business.
• Identify process and system risks and enhancements, investigate errors, and deliver corrections to improve functionality and efficiency of business.
Skills Required
• Degree qualification in IT, Business, or related discipline.
• Extensive software proficiency covering a wide variety of business applications with Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated understanding of end‐to‐end processes and dependencies and inter‐dependencies of these processes with other business areas.
• Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills and business acumen including experience drafting operational report, business cases and related documents
• Experience in Agile working methodology
• Proven analytical and problem‐solving skills with a commercially focused approach to problem solving.
• Experience manipulating large data sets, interpreting trends and reporting results in a clear and effective manner.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise and deliver outcomes in a timely manner against key results areas.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with experience in dealing with a variety of stakeholders.
• Experienced in the development of systems, policies, procedures, and workplace instructions to improve operational outcomes and controls.
• Proven ability to communicate with influence.
Non essential skills
• Demonstrated proven experience integrating new systems into existing IT architecture.
• Strong analytical, risk, compliance, and financial modelling skills.
• Broad knowledge and understanding of program and project management disciplines, methodologies, and standards.
