Senior Associate - Capital Markets and M&A

The role
Working with market leading Corporate Partners an exceptional opportunity exists for you to join our clients Corporate, M&A and Capital Markets team. Our client are open to considering a Lawyer (4+PQE) or Senior Associate for this role.
In this role you will work on Australian and cross-border corporate transactions involving equity raisings, including IPOs, takeovers, mergers & acquisitions, ASX listing rule and governance advice, across a range of industry sectors. There is both Public and Private M&A work but the majority of clients are Private companies, including many high growth clients.
You will have significant exposure to clients, playing a leading role on key aspects of transactions, including negotiations, drafting and team supervision.

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
4-8 years' experience post qualification experience within a corporate practice at either a top tier or leading mid tier law firm;
Equity capital markets experience advantageous;
The ability to play a lead role on transactions and drive matters forward;
Strong client service focus and exceptional work ethic;
Genuine team player with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; and
A passion for mentoring junior lawyers and providing timely feedback to aid their development.
