Synergy Search is working with two top-tier firms engaged to look for leading Disputes lawyers in the Tax and Regulatory disputes space.

  1. Lawyer and SA

    For the Tax Disputes team of a leading top-tier taxation practice. The role offers significant client exposure, and lawyers will play a key role in all aspects of tax disputes, risk assessment at all stages of tax controversy, including strategy development, negotiations, and drafting.

    This role offers a genuine career pathway and the chance to work on some of the largest and most complex tax disputes in the current market.

  2. Regulatory and Tax Disputes Lawyer 2-4 PQE

    For a Tier 1 Dispute Resolution team, focusing on general commercial litigation with a particular focus on regulatory and tax disputes, as well as other complex and strategic disputes.

    Approximately 60% of the matters are Contentious against the ATO for major blue chip corporates, with the remaining 40% of the work being Regulatory disputes for clients across Mining & Energy, Banking & Insurance, Technology, Pharma and Private Equity.

    Both clients are looking for candidates with good academics and a solid grounding in Tax and or Regulatory Disputes from either a leading top or mid-tier law firm or Accounting practice.
