Our client is a national commercial law firm that has grown fast and is now a team of 200 professionals across two states. Founded over 30 years ago, they disrupt the reactive approach of traditional law firms by offering personalised service with a proactive, global perspective.

They are looking to hire a senior transactional Property Lawyer at either the AD or Director level to work alongside another experienced Director to manage a large Property practice. That practice currently has an SA, several Associates and an experienced Conveyancer.

Their practice is based on supporting three main types of clients

  1. Property Developers - predominantly small and medium (non listed)

  2. Fund Managers - generally mid sized FM’s supporting their transactional property needs

  3. Corporate and Commercial Clients of all sizes on their property needs.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ PQE (for an AD role) and experience of managing a variety of property transactions in NSW under no, or minimal supervision

Candidates who have experience of efficiently balancing both higher volume work and larger matters would be a good fit for the team

Candidates with experience of Trusts, Property Finance, Stamp duty, NSW Planning regime will be especially relevant.

This is a practice with the capacity to hire a senior lawyer with a minimal practice, as they will need the capacity to support the firm’s current clients as well as their own.
