Our client is a major player in the Energy & Infrastructure market in Australia, and is playing a huge role in Australia’s Energy Transition. They are looking for a talented and commercially minded, Property lawyer at the 6-10 + PQE level to join their team.
Candidates with experience working on Energy & Infrastructure projects will be especially welcomed.

Position Description
This is a newly created position that will see you play an important role in a high calibre legal team with responsibility for advising on:
A diverse portfolio of primarily property and real estate matters along with a mix of other commercial matters, partnering closely with stakeholders, and delivering pragmatic legal advice that enables business outcomes.
You will provide strategic and commercial legal support across a broad range of commercial transactions with a principal focus on property and real estate, helping the business navigate legal risk while supporting critical infrastructure and operational outcomes
You’ll work cross-functionally with the commercial, engineering, and procurement teams and provide practical, solutions-oriented legal advice that supports strategic delivery.
Ideal Candidate
6+ years’ post-qualification experience gained in a leading law firm and/or in-house environment.
You must be able to distill complex legal ideas into plain english and work well with stakeholders from different areas
Strong background in property & real estate transactions
Experience managing a portfolio of complex matters and balancing competing priorities
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to advise confidently at all levels of the business.
