Corporate Real Estate - London - US Law Firm

Our Clients London Real Estate team is seeking an excellent mid-level associate. Successful candidates will have experience in, or a desire to specialise in the real estate transaction sector. We expect that candidates with 3-4 years of post-qualification experience to have the requisite experience.

Candidates must have excellent academics (minimum 2.1 or equivalent) and ideally be working at a top law firm (UK and/or US) – preferably for heavyweight opportunity fund/REPE/institutional clients.

Significant experience in

(i) RE joint ventures – partnerships, companies, trusts, etc.

(ii) acquisition/sale of RE SPVs

(iii) RE loan portfolio sale agreements is necessary as well as some reasonable knowledge of RE finance.

Experience dealing with US clients and of leading local counsel in offshore jurisdictions (mainly Europe, Lux, CI, Cayman, etc.) would be a plus as would interest and some experience in working on both UK and European deals (other languages helpful, but not a must). We welcome candidates who have an entrepreneurial approach and who are ambitious self-starters.
