Our client is one of the leading renewable infrastructure developers in the APAC region with proven large scale project development all across the region.

They are focused on the development, construction, ownership and operation of energy, including renewable and hybrid (gas and renewable) systems, bioenergy and waste processing, and waste recovery infrastructure assets.

They take a long term approach to projects which covers every stage of a project’s lifecycle including origination, development, design construction, and engineering, to operation and maintenance, asset management, and performance optimisation.

• The ideal candidate will have proven experience working on renewable energy projects including the planning, property, construction - including drafting and negotiating EPC, O&M documents.

• Exposure to Grid connection agreements and PPA’s is a plus

• Project Finance skills are not required for this role.

You will work as the sole counsel in Australia supporting (and supported by) the regional legal team operating throughout the APAC region. You will work to support both the local business on Projects in Australia and projects across APAC.

This role will suit a competent commercially minded projects or construction lawyer who has proven renewables expertise who is looking to work in amore commercial environment where they can support every aspect of a project from design board through to operation
