The opportunity our client provides consulting services to Legal departments and Law firms. They are looking for a new team member to join us and deliver process, technology and Client Experience (CX) transformation for Australasian and global legal clients, as well as support the internal business strategy.

The purpose of this role is to support the successful planning, management and delivery of client projects. This is a unique opportunity to join and support the strategy of a fast-growing team in a new line of service . You will work directly with senior team members on a variety of exciting roles, learn from a team with a vast array of experiences and be involved in decisions relating to the business future vision.

The role

The successful candidate will support several client projects at a time focusing on optimising legal service delivery through improvement type projects.

We are looking for a results focused self-starter who is committed to enabling and delivering a lasting change for our clients.

Unlike law firm Legal Op’s or LPM / Legal Tech roles, this is a job opportunity with no ceiling to it, people can progress from Consultant to Manager to Director to Partner because they are revenue generating.

Key responsibilities

● Use process improvement skills and methodologies to help our clients achieve the desired change and expected benefits of their program of work

● Work on legal department and law firm diagnostics, collecting and analysing data, and presenting insights based on information collated

● Ensure client stakeholders are effectively engaged and managed

● Provide practical project, process improvement and CX upskilling for clients

● Support internal strategy, business development opportunities, and other activities associated with a growing team

The person

The ideal person for this role will have the following key skills and experience:

● 3-5 years process improvement experience gained in a consulting role

● Successfully delivered business process improvement projects across organisations, from initiation through to benefits realisation

● Excellent data analytics skill set, able to gather, wrangle and draw insights from large data sets and present information in visually impactful ways.

● Ability to design and deliver effective client workshops and bring facilitation skills to client meetings and programs conducted face-to-face, digitally or with a blend of the two

● Worked with multidisciplinary project teams involving internal and external stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones

● Keen interest in organisational development, service culture and Client Experience transformation with an understanding of Human Centred Design and Design Thinking

● Strong consulting skills and maintained working relationships at different levels of seniority from project team members and client representatives

● Appreciation of the legal technology environment and the challenges and opportunities of optimising IT for better outcomes within legal organisations

● Professional services or legal sector experience with an understanding of delivery in a partnership culture (beneficial)

● Lean and/or Six Sigma, Project management (beneficial) Qualifications and software

● Educated to degree level or similar academic credit

● Lean and/or process improvement accreditation, Project management (beneficial)

● Intermediate-level user of Microsoft Excel and PowerBI (or equivalent)
