Our clients Strategic Property team is growing and evolving as their Project Management Office for their Accommodation project continues to fill out to match their needs.
 
They are looking for two Property Program Coordinators to join the Project Management Office of the Strategic Property team support the development, project management and delivery of the Accommodation project. Which will include 6 new Industrial and Commercial sites, 9 refurbishments, multiple retiring of sites.
 
There are two roles, one role is based in Sydney CBD covering the Sydney Metropolitan area. The other is based in Newcastle and will support sites from Ourimbah to Muswellbrook.

The candidates will get to work on the client side, supporting major Property and Construction projects leading the engagement with builders, engineers, and all levels of internal stakeholders on major relocation and new build projects. 

The role

  • Collaborate with the Manager Accommodation & Strategy to oversee and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

  • Liaise with builders, engineers, contractors, and consultants externally and key stakeholders internally to ensure smooth project execution. Proven communication skills are a must

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including permits, contracts, and progress reports.

  • Coordinate and chair project meetings, taking accurate minutes and create accurate project documentation.

  • Assist in the management of project budgets, tracking expenses, and reporting on financial performance.

  • Monitor project schedules and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes.



The ideal candidate

Our client is looking for candidates who have 3-4 years plus of experience as a Project engineer, Project Coordinator or a Project manager or even a Development Manager working for a major Real Estate Services company or a Property Developer.

Experience with Industrial Property or depots is an advantage but not a must have.

Project leadership is important as they will be managing 3-5 projects across office new builds, warehouse relocations etc
This role is being offered as a 24 month Contract but there is a lot of work beyond the scope of this project that could lead to that being extended or a contract being made permanent at the end of this project.
