Our client is a major international law firm with a market leading Disputes and Restructuring and Insolvency practices that works with domestic and international clients across all industries .

In this role you will work alongside a Partner (top rated in all the legal directories) on a range of high profile restructuring and insolvency matters as well as other general commercial disputes, with the national Restructuring and Insolvency team.

The Restructuring & Insolvency team has an impressive track record and market reputation in many of Australia's largest and most complex restructuring transactions, formal insolvencies and adjacent litigation on a local, regional and international level.

Known for their practical, commercial advice and problem solving, as well as their cross border capability, they have the privilege of being instructed by major national and international organisations and leading insolvency practitioners in large-scale, complex restructuring and insolvency assignments, across a range of industries and disciplines.

You'll be part of the national R&I team, be mentored by and work directly alongside a partner on a variety of complex and significant matters across the Australian market.

About You

• 3+ years' experience in restructuring and insolvency (preferred, but will consider strong candidates with broader experience, including from three years post qualification)

• dispute resolution experience

• preferably have undertaken or planning to take the ARITA Advanced Certification course;

• a strong client service orientation and business development aptitude

• strong technical, drafting and commercial skills;

• excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills;

• proactive and collaborative approach to work
